The Long Dark - Wolf Hunt Challenge In this challenge you are a veteran wolf hunter. The wolf population has exploded and you were hired to hunt wolves in several over populated regions. Rules for Wolf Hunt Challenge 1. Difficultly Setting. a) This challenge will have custom
settings and played at the Interloper settings. c) Although 5 Active Feats slots are available you are only allowed to use 2. 2. Spawn a) The map spawn starting location for this challenge is: Random b) Once you spawn you must make your way to the Trappers Homestead in Mystery Lake. c) Loot what you can but you must get to the Trappers by day 5. d) Once you arrive at the Trappers you may continue to loot wherever you wish, however you must make a forge run soon. 3. Forge Run. a) You must be at a forge by day 15. b) You may forge at any location you choose. FM might be the better choice as it is the closest. 4. After the Forge Run. a) After your forge run you must head back to the Trappers to start crafting your Bow and Arrows. 5. Gameplay. a) Once you are arrive at the Trappers and have finished crafting your Bow and Arrows, you need to hunt 4 Wolves in ML and craft 2 Wolf coats. Once they are crafted you must wear them at all times. After all you are a wolf hunter. **Note: You may wear the rabbit skin hat and mittens, deer skin boots and pants. You are not allowed to wear a bearskin or moose hide coat. You may use the bear and moose hides for other items though. b) After you have crafted both Wolf coats you will need to go to 4 regions that have an over population of wolves and hunt them. The 4 regions are Broken Railroad, Milton, Coastal Highway and Timberwolf Mountain. You will need to collect 4 wolf pelts from each region and bring them back to the Trappers Lodge. Once this is completed you must hunt 4 wolves in ML and bring them back to the Lodge. Once this has been done you have completed the challenge.
